Important information about Hair Extensions

Who is the hair extension treatment for?
Hair extensions and thickening are the perfect solution for women who want to improve their appearance without the use of invasive treatments. Correctly selected method, together with the highest quality hair, allows you to obtain a natural effect of beautiful and long hair.

How to choose the best hair extension method?
The method is selected during a consultation meeting. The stylist, together with the client, will analyze key issues such as: expected effects, length before and after the treatment, the condition of natural hair, its thickness, structure, as well as daily styling, favorite hairstyles, etc.

Are hair extensions safe for natural hair?
Yes. Extensions and thickening do not adversely affect the condition of your natural hair, if the extension method has been properly selected. The key issue will be daily care, using cosmetics dedicated to hair extensions, as well as regular adjustment.

How long does the treatment effect last?
Depending on the extension method used, the first correction is made 4 weeks to 4 months after the extension procedure. It consists in translating / pulling up the joints. In the case of stranded hair, the adjustment shortens its length by about 1 cm. This is not the case with tape on hair. A new adjustment is made by cleaning the tape and sticking a new rebonding strip. It does not change the length of the hair.

Why is undertaking adjustment so important?
The seam line lowers / moves away from the scalp due to the growth of natural hair. Every day we lose 100 to 150 hairs, which is in line with the hair growth cycle. After a few weeks, too little bonding hair can put your own natural hair overburdened.

What determines the durability of the hair?
The durability of the hair depends primarily on its quality. Slavic virgin hair will be the perfect choice for the most demanding clients. Their durability reaches up to 2-3 years. The period of wearing Slavic hair, in the case of dark hair, is up to approx. 18 months and up to approx. 9 months for blondes, with proper care.

Does caring for hair extensions require frequent visits to a specialist?
The basis for caring for hair extensions is self-care at home, the use of specialist cosmetics and a hair extension brush. Visits to the salon are only necessary to adjust the joints.

Can you dye the attachments?
In the case of Slavic virgin hair, it is possible to successfully perform hairdressing treatments such as dying or bleaching. Toning Slavic hair usually does not damage it, but any change in color of the hair will void the warranty. Hair that has already been bleached previosuly is not recommended.

Does the hair require special care?
Hair extensions require special care. To keep them beautiful and full of shine, we recommend the use of specialized cosmetics from the professional HAIR EXTENSIONS LINE by Beauty-for-You line and following the rules for the care of hair extensions, placed on the back of the Demobook and in the Warranty Card.

Are there any risks to the hair extension treatment?
General risks are scalp diseases or severe hair loss (e.g. after chemotherapy). In the context of individual methods, risks are:

• ring method
• allergy to metals
• keratin method
• frequent lightening / coloring of hair with strong dye
